Pardon the Silence

It has been quite a long time since I updated my profile or posted anything... Well for starters, I have been quite busy with LIFE. I am a proud parent of a wonderful, healthy baby girl (who is currently 9 months old 
), and I am also employed as a substitute teacher 
. Basically, it has been rather challenging to find time or have the energy to work on my artistic endeavors .
Fear not! I haven't stopped creating art. Most of my art piece are pretty much "Work in progress" stuff, and whenever I find time, I work on it slowly. Other than that, I do try to improve my style when it comes to modeling in 3d and stuff.
But also, I have come to a realization that I need to invest on a tablet with a few good drawing apps. I am pretty much on the go, and there are times when my little one has her brief naps, I want to take advantage of the time to draw. But, trying to lug around an old, clunky laptop, plus a huge drawing tablet is a bit troublesome when my little one is nicely snuggled right beside me. I seriously need to save my pennies.
Other than that, life has been good to me, and hopefully I will post some deviations in the near future.

Yeah yeah yeah, It's the New Year and I'm still alive... I'm doing fine, somewhat productive and stuff... Not much going on for me except work and life...
Artistically speaking, I haven't submitted any art work on this site in a couple of months. I have been drawing, but they are deemed a bit too mature for this site... Also need to start investing on a new Intuos Wacom Tablet (My old Intuos 3 is slowly dying on me). Other than that, I do have a few supposed resolutions for this year that I want to achieve...
1. Start working on some artistic projects and complete it. (animating, filming)
2. Get a little more healthy (Luckily, I have been slowly losing weight because of the current job, but I want get in shape a bit more.)
3. Start implementing Time Management for myself when it comes to art project
4. Try...TRY to ween myself of the Facebook (It's a big waste of time and rarely so often that I post. In all honesty, I fucking hate facebook.)

At Wit's End...

For the past couple of months I have moved back to San Antonio, since things didn't work out for my hubby in pursuit of a college education. A lot has change from the music education program, which I empathized with him. When the decision to go back to San Antonio due to financial reasons, it also meant that I had to let go of a job as a substitute teacher at Kingsville due to the move. Well anyways, these past months since returning back to San Antonio have been brutal for me job wise.
I have sent job applications galore in hopes of obtaining a job. Hell, I even sent applications for receptionist jobs that were open (since I have some job qualifications in that sector), but alas I fail miserably. I truly hate playing the waiting game. I know my husband has already landed a job as an animal care officer, I am glad for him. But it still sucks that I haven't heard from one company in regards of a job interview.
Right now I am at wit's end, and honestly, I don't what do in regards of maintaining financial stability. All of my money has been spent to my student loans for last month. Sadly, I still have student loans to pay for this month's payment, and it is looming in a couple of weeks.
I am willing to do art commissions, it's least I can do in putting use of my artistic capabilities...

Art Commission Potpourri: Open!

Okay!
So for a month now, my husband and I safely made it to Kingsville, Tx. We currently have taken temporary housing thanks to my husband's friend. We are both still in the process of looking for an affordable apartment (most housing over there at Kingsville is too expensive, too run down, or full to the point that their is a year long wait to rent it...). Other than that, I am in the process of starting my new job as a substitute teacher (have to spend cash right now to earn cash in this job, with tb testing and fingerprinting for background checking stuff).
As of now, I am doing commissions. I've got 10 slots open for anybody that wants a commission.
